♪ Heavy is the head that wears the crown ♪

How many thousands of my poorest subjects

are, at this hour, asleep?

O sleep,

O gentle sleep, nature's soft nurse,

how have I frightened thee,

that thou no more will weigh my eyelids down,

nor steep my senses in forgetfulness?

Canst thou, O partial sleep,

give thy repose to the wet sea-boy in an hour so rude,

and in the calmest and most stillest night

deny it to a king?

Then, happy low,

lie down.

Uneasy lies the head

that wears a crown.

But soft!

What light through yonder window breaks?

It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.

Do you see how she leans her cheek upon her hand?

Would I were a glove upon that hand

that I might touch that cheek.

O Romeo,

Romeo,

wherefore art thou, Romeo?

Deny thy father and refuse thy name,

or, if thou wilt not,

be but sworn my love,

and I'll no longer be a Capulet.

Well, I take thee at thy word,

but call me but love, and I'll be new baptized.

Henceforth, I never will be Romeo.

What man art thou that thus bescreened in night

so stumblest on my counsel?

Art thou not Romeo,

and a Montague? Neither,

fair saint, if either thou dislike.

How camest thou hither, tell me, and wherefore?

The orchard walls are high and hard to climb,

and the place death, considering who thou art,

if any of my kinsmen find thee here.

With love's light wings did I o'erperch these walls,

for stony limits cannot hold love out,

and what love can do, that dares love attempt.

Therefore, thy kinsmen are no stop to me.

And it was an actual scientific study, right,

on human beings and what happens to them

how the heart beats begin to beat as one all together,

and how they share a rhythm.

Even celebrities?

[audience laughs]

Even celebrities.

Wow! Wow.

But here's the thing, right, you can't get that.

in one room.

Oh, when you hear the last line of that play-

You forget who you came with,

They're all part of this, sort of, ritual

that we all perform every night,

the same time, across the city,

across the country, thousands of theaters, 7:30.

House lights dying down, a hush of anticipation

as the story begins,

and people step out onto that stage

to live out their dreams.
