It is unclear whether Taylor Swift stared at the sunset while celebrating her birthday in New York City Wednesday evening, but we can say with authority that we will remember her standing in a nice dress.

Swift rang in the big 3-4 while wearing a black Clio Peppiat mini dress emblazoned with images of the moon, stars, and clouds, made up of Swarovski beads and crystals. The dress retails for a cool $2,335. The singer topped off the look with a black faux fur Anine Bing jacket, diamond jewelry, a shimmery jewel-encrusted handbag, and black platform heels.

Along with longtime pal Blake Lively, Swift paid a visit to New York nightclub The Box. Lively wore her own form-fitting black dress, rocking a midi-length leather number with a thigh-high slit. She paired it with black striped tights and black heeled over-the-knee stiletto boots. The two recently made waves with a photo at the premiere of Beyoncé’s Renaissance film in London, leaning against each other and absolutely oozing high fashion. (Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, shared a goofy photoshopped version of the pic, with himself in a starring role).

Miles Teller and wife Keleigh Sperry hung out with Swift for the second night of birthday festivities in a row, and even more celebrity pals were spotted helping Swift ring in the next year of her life, including Selena Gomez, Sabrina Carpenter, Gigi Hadid, Zoë Kravitz, Antoni Porowski, and Jack Antonoff.

One notable face that was not in attendance? Travis Kelce. Swift’s beau was reportedly in Kansas City for a mandatory practice ahead of this Sunday’s Chiefs game against the New England Patriots. After two consecutive losses (both of which Swift witnessed in person), the team is heading to Massachusetts for the match-up.

Representatives for Swift did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
